A goat skull-top I painted with a scorpion design.	Coyote Travelling Charm	A tribal painted sheep's skull I created while experimenting in skull painting.
A rather large kangaroo skull I found on a highway and added to my skull collection.	A fox skull that I painted with a striking tribal design.	A dog's skull I cleaned, that now takes pride of place in my skull collection.
		A kangaroo skull I picked up on another highway expedition.

Coyote Travelling Charm

This was an experiment in "functional spirituality objects", by creating a charm to protect
travellers that could be kept in a car to protect the driver. It is suspended via a loop of black
cotton cord from the driver's headrest, and hangs down the back of the drivers seat.
The coyote face was bought from Ebay; the crow feathers were collected from assorted
parks and forested areas; the small wooden beads are from an old broken necklace; and
the long beads are echidna quills taken from a road killed echidna, then cleaned, cut and
strung all by hand.

Anarchy in the UK!	The cutest little dead rat in the world.	A lovely green and yellow budgerigar.
A canary I mounted inside a wicker birdcage.	A bad bird that turned into a good bird. Eventually.	A pair of sleepy ducklings. Aaaww....

Welcome to Laura's Taxidermy. This is the growing page of Laura Berryman's taxidermy pieces. Here you can have a look at what she's been up to, any new pieces she's done, and any strange experiments she comes up with, like her mouse named Igor. We welcome your input, so please send us any suggestions you have. Now, lets meet the girl herself.
Laura Berryman. She lives in rural Australia with her cat Sita. Currently developing her skills as a taxidermist, she's always learning new things, and is always happy to learn new skills. So if anyone knows any tricks for stuffing and mounting animals, don't hesitate to contact her on the matter. She hopes to one day open her own taxidermy shop, with all variety of pieces, but for now, she's teaching herself what she can. Possibly in the future she may be able to do requests for mounts, but for now, this is simply a portfolio of her works.

Possible future projects

In collaboraton with PuppyGoth when she gets the correct equiptment and skills. It is a growing idea at this point in time that Laura will get a small animal of some sort, possibly a kitten or a rabbit (for the approprate size), skin it and shave it. At that time PuppyGoth will tattoo tribal or celtic designs on it, then it will be mounted.
Depending on the quality of the finished piece, it may be sold here when finished.
*This will not happen for quite a long time, possibly next year. It's just here to get feedback at this point in time.
When a larger assortment of teeth, claws etc. become available, a range of jewelry and items made from these materials will eventually be available. Possible items in the future will include bracelets, necklaces, medicine pouches and dreamcatchers, amongst others, and commissions for special items may become available.

Three Weird Rats

This trio of purposefully-twisted characters, deligtful as they are, were created for a high-school art project. They
were part of a diorama to illustrate human vice and overcrowding.

They were mounted in the same solid method as Frankie the Rat, on the "Tradional" page.
